Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has announced that police investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of War Crimes have arrested Mr.S., under suspicion of carrying out criminal work “war crimes against the civilian population”.
The defendant, Mr. S., as part of a paramilitary group of Serbian forces, allegedly committed war crimes in the village of Matican, the Pristina municipality during the 1998-1999 period”, says the report.
The Special Prosecutor has announced that within the legal deadline, according to the Code of Criminal Procedure, he will submit to the Pristina Constitutional Court, the Special Department's request for detention.
