“Under this grand manifestation of the KLA Age and the day of barracks “Adem Jashari”, we remember the price of freedom and the oath that became for us to live free and dignifiedly. With this land that once trembled by the gunfire of freedom, today the barracks “Adem Jashar”, a name that is not simply the institution's name but, above all, an institution. It is a permanent commemoration of a figure that became a symbol of national eternity, legendary Commander Adam Jashari and the entire Jashari”, Osmani said.

She has said that the Jashar family chose, not the easy way, but the sacrifice, confrontation, and above all eternity.

In Precas, legendary commander Adem Jashar and his family became the stronghold of resistance and their blood to the seal of our freedom and independence. The Jashar family is the altar of national freedom and the pride of every Albanian. The KLA was the voice of a oppressed people, the organisation of courage and hope that arose against injustice. It was a national conscience that refused to be silent. The era of March 1998 is evidence that freedom is gained by sacrifice, unity, with the right to live free in our centuries-old hearths. ”, Osmani said.

She has said that our pride today except that it stands in the past, march before us in modern uniform, with high professionalism and steadfast devotion to the Republic of Kosovo.

“The KSF is the worthy heir of the KLA, it carries to the heart the ideal of freedom and bears the responsibility of the country's security. Trained according to the highest international standards, equipped with modern capacity and professionally prepared troops, the KSF today is ready for any challenge. The KSF is not only capable of protecting the homeland at all times, it is prepared to contribute to global peace and security missions. Today when we commemorate the KLA era we are strengthening vision for the future, the future where Kosovo is secure. Sovereignty is protected in every hand, integrated into Euro-Atlantic structures, with a professional army and strong institutions, barracks “Adem Jashari” is a symbol of historical continuity”, Osmani said.

She has said that KSF has come from a freedom rifle to state uniforms, from resistance to institutional protection and from sacrifice to state responsibility.

Let's swear today before the memory of the legendary commander, and all the martyrs of the nation, before the memory of the entire Yasar family, that we will preserve this country with the same devotion they earned by giving their lives. We will strengthen our army, deepen our friendship with our allies, protect our freedom at all times and every circumstance because our freedom has history and customs. This is our beloved Kosovo, which we need every day to love, to preserve and empower each day”, it has added.
