Jordan ousts 8 Iranian missiles, state media reports

Jordan's military said its air defence took on and destroyed eight Iranian missiles early Thursday according to local time, which were heading towards the country, state media reported, writes CNN.
The remains from the interceptions fell to several locations, but were not reported injured or damaged, Jordan's Armed Forces said, according to state news agency Petra.
The Iranian Army claimed it had targeted American military assets in Jordan, including fearful attacks on communication systems and fuel deposits at the Al-Azraz air base, Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency and Press TV reported.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) has not commented on Iranian claims, while CNN cannot verify them independently.
Other attacks in the region: During the night, Bahrain's Interior Ministry said the sirens were dropping and called on residents to take refuge.
Meanwhile, Kuwait's air defence was facing attacks from hostile fears”, according to the Army General Staff. Iran claimed it had targeted American infrastructure at the military bases in Kuwait, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency. /Periscope
