The European Union has made clear, the leaders must be brought to justice. This is not just words... this has to be done and one day it's going to happen”, the ambassador stressed with a meeting of journalists.
Orar estimated that the attack on Banjska is one of the sensitive topics that should be discussed within the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, rather than being used as an obstacle to its continuation.
I fully understand the problems you mentioned in Banjska... but these issues can be discussed. If they are not discussed, then we do not achieve anything”, he said.
The EU ambassador reiterated that dialogue remains the only mechanism to address such issues and achieve lasting stability in the region.
“These issues can be discussed... but if not discussed, there can be no solution”, Orar concluded, writes Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
We remember that on September 24th 2023 in Zvecan Banjska, a group of armed Serbs attacked the Kosovo Police, killing Sergeant Africa Bulnjak. Three Serb attackers were killed during the shootout.
The responsibility for the attack has been taken over by Milan Radojic, former deputy chairman of the Serbian List, the main party of Serbs in Kosovo who enjoys Belgrade's support. /Periscope/
