Abdixhiku stressed that the way the process of electing the president is not what, according to him, was agreed on earlier.
He said the LDK has insisted that the candidate for this post be consensual and not a person with pronounced party affiliations.
This is not the process we agreed on. We said there shouldn't be imposes and there should be candidates with party booklets. It's said to have a consensual candidate, but that doesn't seem like a consensus. The race gives no choice, only choices. The president is not a question of a party race, nor of the 61 votes, but of national unity within the Republic of Kosovo”, Abdixhiku said.
