Kosovo police have reported that on Monday, March 9th in Rahovec, they have found capital remains allegedly belonging to at least one individual missing during the Kosovo war.
According to the official announcement, ossuary remains have been withdrawn from the scene and sent to the IML for forensic examination, autopsies and DNA analysis, with the aim of identifying the individual, transmits Periscopi .
In the case of 09.03.2026, during the continuation of the operations the relevant police unit in co-ordination with the IML based on the court's ordinance, there has been an ossuary of human origin found during excavations allegedly belonging to at least one (1) individual missing during the war in Kosovo. The ossuary remains have been withdrawn from the site and sent to the IML for forensic examination, on autopsies and DNA analysis, with the aim of identification”, says the report.
