It has been located after investigative actions by police.

Owners had reported the case to law - enforcement agencies who had rented the car. According to the agreement, the vehicle had to be left in the parking lot with the keys placed on the tire, but then it had not been found at its destination.

But, it is said that after initial surrenders from those who had been rented, the car was taken by some Turkish citizens, who, looking at the car and key, had boarded it by default and had continued on the way to Prizren.

The Volkswagen type car was later found in Prizren, in a shopping mall parking lot and handed over to owners.

The case was also confirmed by police, through Prizren's regional spokesman, Saqir Bytyqi.

On the date 29.03.26, around 01:15, Prizren Police Station reports that the Golf V car III, which was reported stolen at Pristina Airport, has been found parked in a shopping mall parking lot in Prizren. Police have made car insurance and have been notified of the investigation by the Lipjan Police Station, who have come towards Prizren to take over the case's”, Bytyqi said.

“Later around 05:30, from Prizren Police Station, it has been reported that after assisting colleagues from the Lipjan Police Station in connection with the case, investigative- operational actions have been completed. Suspects have been interviewed and released under regular procedure, as there has been a misunderstanding between the car owner and client”, he added.
