Macron ʹ Kurti to congratulate prime re-election: It is up to you to implement commitments made in recent agreements with Serbia

The Kosovo prime minister's office has shown several letters of congratulations sent to Kurti, and Macron on his side writes, among other things, that France will support Kosovo on its European path.

In the same paragraph, Macro also mentions recent agreements from the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, seeking their implementation.

The Brussels-Ohri agreements have established direction and it is up to both sides to implement the commitments made, within the facilitated dialogue by the European Union”, the French president writes among other things.

Mr. Prime Minister,

I direct my heartfelt congratulations on your re-election to the post of prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

You know my commitment to our continent's reunification target: France is convinced that the country of all Western Balkan countries is within the European Union and we continue to support Kosovo on its European path. France will also continue to support effort to normalise relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which constitute an essential dimension of this approach process with the European Union. The Brussels-Ohri agreements have established direction and belong to both sides to implement the commitments made, within the facilitated dialogue by the European Union.

I also want France and Kosovo to continue to deepen their ties and bilateral co-operation about structural projects, such as preparation for the Mediterranean Games that your country will host in 2030.
