Asked that these concessions were seen by the opposition as a step towards association, Kurti returned to the term “Zieednica”, which he said did not exist even after five years in the government.
These five years that I'm prime minister often, the opposition explorers have said that éjednica did Zajednica this month, that Zajednica will be made next month, but you know that five years are 60 months, no Zajednica. So you have a government of the Republic, which is democratic, which ensures well-being for all citizens, security and prosperity for all indiscriminately”.
Denying these opposition accusations, Kurti cited popular support for his actions.
Therefore, all such accusations are inappropriate, this is well known to the citizens of the Republic who are so supportive of us and who enjoy the fruits of our work that is our duty and responsibility”.
The Kosovo government agreed to offer temporary residence permits and to recognise the IDs of members of the Serb community released by Serbia for an initial 12-month period. The law began to apply on March 15th.
The European Union, whose special representative, Peter Sorensen, was also in touch with Serbia's Government, helped the agreement.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in 2023 in an interview in RTK, had declared there is association in the document offered by the EU.
He had also shown that Article 7 was creative, and there would be no association that violates the constitution.
