Kurti-Macron meeting: Dialogue discussed with Serbia, implementation of agreements reached

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid a visit and a working lunch with the president of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, who hosted him at Elyze Palace in Paris.
President Macron once again congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on the new re-election and mandate at the head of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. Prime Minister Kurti expressed thanks for France's continued contribution to Kosovo.
French Minister Delegated for Europe Benjamin Haddad also attended the meeting, as did the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in France, Mehdi Halimi, and the General Consul of the Republic of Kosovo in Strasbourg, Lulzim Hiseni.
The Continued Positive Role Emphasised NATO in Kosovo, KFOR, as well as European Union missions respectively.
The meeting discussed integrations and security in Europe. Prime Minister Kurti stressed that Kosovo remains fully harmonised with EU foreign and security policy. He underlined progress in comprehensive reforms, with progress in 35 out of 38 areas, as the EU's latest report for our country found itself, ranking Kosovo among the most successful countries in the region. Here, Prime Minister Kurti called for France's support for Kosovo's European integration and for membership in international organisations.

The meeting confirmed bilateral commitment to further deepening the European and bilatheral partnership between Kosovo and France.
