Kurti in 2016 for the Kosovo National football: It takes a national, I don't believe in major Kosovo results

Not only to the political achievements of the state of Kosovo, but also to its sport, the discus of Albin Kurti and his party, Vetevendosje, before taking power, was filled with a constant spirit of distrust and underestimation. Often, this spirit promoted by Kurt was wrapped up in patriotic statements even for union [...]
Often, that spirit, promoted by Kurti, was wrapped up in patriotic statements even of national unity, which were forgotten once Vetevendosje's leader violated the Kosovo Government building.
Instead of encouraging love to our new state and truly praising the sporting achievements (such as the accession of Kosovo to UEFA and FIFA), Kurti promoted Narratia, which weakened any state success and undermined confidence in Kosovo's potential in the international arena, a strategy that resembles hybrid warfare, where the goal was to weaken love and pride for the new state.
The depreciation of successes and the distorting of reality were not coincidences, but part of a continuing political approach by him and the Vetevendosje Movement. This hybrid war, followed by every statement and action, prevented the strengthening of the feeling for the state of Kosovo, putting the public in a climate where collective self-confidence was weakened and achievements were relatable.
“We can't move forward with that lara-lara flag, which was pulled out of the bag by these flag dealers who usurped power, who usurped the state, to enrich themselves and help Serbia”, called Kurti in his party-organised demonstration on November 28, 2015.
On June 24, 2016, questioned by RTV 21, journalist that “for whom will you be a fan, for Albania or for Kosovo?
According to Kurti, in a confrontation between Albania and Switzerland, if the latter had 5 Albanian players in its composition, then Albania's representative would have to score 6 goals -- one more than the number of Albanian players on the Swiss team.
That would have to happen even in a possible game between Albania and Kosovo, because according to Kurti, he did not believe in Kosovo's major results, says Democracy.
I was also asked who I would be rooting for, Switzerland or Albania? This question is no longer legitimate, after these three matches (of Albania in the European Championship). But before the football championship, there were also those who said that I was doing this even with Switzerland's victory, or even a draw, making it a kind of distance from the Albanian National's desired victory. I had said that: if there were 5 Albanian football players in Switzerland's nationals, then it would take Albania to win 6:5 and each of the 5 Albanian players to score goals”, Kurti declared for RTV 21.
This was also true in relation to the Kosovo Representative, according to Kurt.
And in relation to the Kosovo Representative, I think so: let the Kosovo Representative score as many goals as possible, but I believe that the Albanian National should win. I hope that Kosovo's representative will join the Albanian National because I don't believe in big results if we are divided”, Kurti declared.
Kurt even saw no need for independent football development in the two countries but for it to be done by creating a common football league.
What we need to focus on now is creating a common league. I remember that earlier they told us we should not create common league because this could jeopardise Kosovo's membership in UEFA and FIFA. Having achieved these two memberships, now it would have to be as soon as we could unite the leagues and thus increase competition and performance”, Kurti, who has been in power for six years, has taken no step in empowering sports in the two respective states.
If there is will, this is possible. I'm sure nothing stops us. Only narrow interests that would have to be realized in the private realm can stop us, but by no means in public, national”, Kurti added.
