Reopens judicial examination in the case where father and two boys are charged with triple murder in Glodjan

The Peja Court has decided to reopen the trial investigation in the triple murder case in Glodjan.
In this case, Halil, Kashsnik of Kastriot Mehmetaj, who allegedly was shot by Kalashnikov on the evening of 26.11.2021, where two 17-year-old students left dead, L. H. and G.M. and bus driver G. Gj, reports Kalxo.com, broadcast Periscope.
According to the prosecution, the murder was made for retaliatory purposes against the bus driver, linking the murder to H.M.'s “suicide in 2020, the accused's daughter, Halil Mehmetaj”.
According to the judge's argument, Leon Perlasca, the trial has been re-opened because the prosecution in the final word has referred to a video recording of the accused, Kresnik Mehmetaj, shooting guns into the mountains, but that the claim has never mentioned before.
According to Persak, the prosecution has claimed in the final word that the weapon seen in the video is the weapon used by the hand to carry out the murder.
In response, according to Perscal, police during the investigation had checked the exact location where the prosecution mentioned in the final word that the accused is seen firing guns, and the AK has been examined with 13 shells and a bullet through ballistic expertise, but neither has this evidence ever been presented for administration during the prosecution's trial.
In the afternoon of 10,07,2026, the Court of Pec has announced the verdict in this case.
What is the motive for the murder according to the Prosecutor?
This murder was allegedly made for retaliatory purposes against driver G.J., linking this murder to H.M.'s “suicide in 2020”, which was the daughter of accused Halil Mehmetaj.
According to the prosecution, for this suicide in the Mehmetaj family, the latter had blamed driver G.J., who was killed in the attack on the bus.
The late driver's wife had also given her testimony, but the session was closed to the public because of the sensitivity of her testimony.
Witnesses from Spring Halilaj and Roseta Petray have been heard on this occasion, which according to the prosecution confirms the motive for this murder. But because these witnesses have confessed details from the present personal life of the late H.M., the daughter of accused Halil Mehmetaj, and from the personal life of the accused himself, the public was disfellowshipped. The accused Halil Mehmetaj, according to the prosecution, has vowed revenge at his daughter's grave when he buried him, placing his watch on the girl's coffin. According to the file, Kashsnik and Kastriot Mehmetaj had planned the murder and shared their duties, the way and the timing of the assassination, while their father had pushed them into these actions.
None of the accused have pleaded guilty. The accounts of parents of students killed on the critical night have also been heard in this judgment. Be that Hamzaj and Florim Mustafaj have given their stories about the event in which their 17-year-old children were killed. Regarding revenge in question, which the prosecution is questioning as to the motive of the murder, Be that Hamza had said the killing of children was meant to cover vengeance.
The defense of the accused had deemed this motive a misinvestigation and urgent action, basing them on village speculations and gossips, which have wrongly oriented the Prosecutor into the lighting of the case. The Act, set up by the Peja Prosecutor, was made public through a conference by this institution, where details of the investigative actions taken were revealed. The event in Glodjan was also considered shocking to public opinion. The arrest of the accused had occurred only a few days after the ordeal.
On Kreshnik and Kastriot Mehmetajn, charges of serious murder in co-ordination bear burden, while Halil Mehmetaj is accused of inciting serious murder. The charge of illegal weapons is also heavy on them. For more than 15 days since the event that had terrorised the inhabitants of that part had not been arrested, there had been instigating reactions. In this case, there had been numerous reactions from instigative acts. In 27,11.2021, Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs Jalal Svecla had called on citizens who have any information concerning the triple murder in Gloja to co-operate with relevant institutions. And the killers had given the ultimatum to surrender.
I'm the one who's allowed the killers to surrender as soon as he turns himself in as best for his circle and the citizens of Kosovo. We know that the one who helps the killer is applied to serious criminal work is not just solidarity. So the earlier it turned in so well, for its own circle and for Kosovo”- Svecla said in 2021. Reaction to the case had already been made to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. At 12,12.2021, the Peja Prosecutor had held an extraordinary conference showing that three people were arrested in connection with the triple murder for which they had sought the detention measure. The trial judge, Sami Shardaku, had approved the prosecution's request for the detention measure, where H.M., K.M., and M. M, they were sent to custody for 30 days.
“It has been assigned the detention measure in length of thirty days after the court estimated there is doubt that the same acts have been committed, of which” reported in the Court's announcement. /Periscope/
