Israel warns long war against Iran and Hezbollah

As the deadline set by US President Donald Trump approaches to open the Hormuz Strait, the Israeli Army has warned its citizens of “more weeks” war against Iran and Hezbollah group declared terrorist by the United States and other powers. “Banks of Israel, we face more [...]
Israeli “State, we face more weeks of fighting against Iran and Hezbollah”, Israeli Army spokesman Effie Defren said in some television statements on March 22nd.
“Every day that passes, we are closer to weakening the terrorist regime [in Tehran]. We will not allow it or its branches to threaten our citizens of Israel, or the existence of the state of Israel”, Defri has said, adding that the land campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon will intensify in the coming weeks.
“Operation against Hezbollah's terrorist organisation has already begun... this is the longest operation”, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir said through a statement.
Trumpet Ultimatium for Hormuz
Israel's statements are somewhat opposed to the American side for the duration of the war.
All eyes are now on an ultimatum of Trump, located on March 21st, at 19:44 with Washington's time, when the president has asked Tehran “for the full extent of” Hormuz Strait within 48 hours or on the contrary will face serious consequences ) a major escalation of tensions in the war that already risks getting out of hand.
If Iran doesn't have PLOCHY, WITHOUT TRUCTION, Hormuz Strait in 48 hours from this moment, the United States will hit and wipe out CENTRALS EUNGY, DYAY --THOOD'S MEANING! --” said Trump via a post on the Truth Social platform.
He has not mentioned which power plants will be targeted, but his statement comes one day after he said he considers reducing the intensity of combat operations, since, according to him, most American goals have been achieved.
The Pentagon is also reportedly sending thousands of additional ground troops to the region.
Iran, on the other hand, has vowed to retaliate if Trump confirms its threat with attacks on nuclear plants.
Iran's military command is quoted as saying, according to state media, that if Iran's energy infrastructure is attacked, the entire energy infrastructure belonging to the US in the region will also be attacked.
Such Iranian revenge attacks would have devastating effects on Arab Gulf states, which are major consumers of energy.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard has threatened with complete closure of the Hormuz Strait, adding that it can only reopen when the facilities destroyed by American attacks are rebuilt.
The strait Blockade has increased global oil prices and has then increased prices of other essential products.
Iranian attacks on oil and gas facilities in the Gulf region have raised concerns for more price hikes.
Rutte: Nations preparing for task in the strait
Trump has asked states that use Hormuz Strait to transport power sources to ensure transport to the area. He has also expressed outrage why many states have hesitated to engage their armies.
But on March 22, the secretary - general NATO, Mark Rutte, has said over 20 states are planning to be involved in the reopening of the strait.
“E knows the president has been angry because he feels like European allies and other allies have been very slow”, Rutte told Fox News on 22 March.
He has added that NATO is aiming to work in this direction with Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
