This comes after US President Donald Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum for Iran to fully reopen Hormuz's plight, threatening to destroy its “thermal power plants if Tehran does not.
“Brenda 48 hours in the United States will hit and destroy their different power plants, starting with the largest of”, he wrote on the Social Truth.
His last post comes just a day after he said he was investigating “the” military operations in the region, even though the United States deployed more troops and warships in the region.
The attacks on commercial ships travelling through the Strait of Hormuz an important corridor for the transport of global oil and threats of further attacks have prevented nearly all tankers from crossing this strait.
Spreaded between the Persian Gulf and Oman Bay, about 20% of the world's oil trade normally passes through the straits.
The latest development shows that the US-Israel War against Iran, which has entered the fourth week, currently does not show signs of lowering tensions. /Periscope
