According to her, meetings between leaders could be held even before the Constitutional Court went out with the Act, adding that the provisional measure was only for the Parliament.
Haxhiu reiterated her statement that the country does not need extraordinary elections.
I expect, even on what Prime Minister Kurti said, that there will be meetings invitations... The court has not banned meetings between political leaders... now since we have the Constitutional Court's decision, I expect that this week we will have meetings between leaders and there will be solutions, not just meetings, but will and constructiveness to overcome this” situation, Haxhiu has declared.
The first of the Parliament said it is very important that at least there be efforts to find solutions.
It's very important that we at least try to find a solution to the president's case. The country does not need extraordinary elections. What citizens need is for the Parliament to elect the president, so parties during this time have constructive meetings that prove will. It doesn't mean that you just go to the body meeting”, Haxhi said at RTK.
