Recent political developments in the country have sparked numerous reactions following the Kosovo Constitutional Court's decision to suspend the decision concerning the presidency and the Assembly of Kosovo by 31 March this year.
The former head of the Constitutional Court, Enver Hasani, has also reacted on this issue. In an interview on the “Politicalo” show, he declared President Vjosa Osmani's move constitutes violation of the constitution.
According to Hasani, the president has not had the right to take such an act and that it cannot be reasoned in European parliamentary systems.
Mrs. Osman is not the problem of being hasty, but of course he was right and he's not right. Without question, it is a constitutional offense. There is no constitutional court in Europe's parliamentary system that could reason on such an act”, Hasani said.
