Haradinaj recalls the 29 March victims: Kosovo state won with blood and sacrifice, truth cannot be distorted

Ramush Haradinaj has remembered March 29th, 1999, honouring the victims killed in the villages of Beleg and Irzniq. Decan and Potter's Cline. He made it known that he has shared the pain with family members today, who after many years suffer the absence of their loved ones.

“Victimes, though unarmed, were executed without mercy by Serbian forces -- among them women, elders and children” -- wrote Haradinaj.

He also recalled that, a day after commemorating the founding of the Brigade 137 “Gjakova”, there have been prayers in honour of 14 fellow fighters fallen in Shishman, Boc. “They were skilled men and warriors, some of whom I had known on the front lines of the fight”, Haradinaj added.

Haradinaj stressed that the state of Kosovo has been won with much blood and sacrifice, and that the truth of the liberation war cannot be distorted. He said Serbia had an extermination mission for Albanians, while that goal ended the KLA's land fighters and NATO in heaven, led by America.

Any attempt to change that truth is failed, and anyone who tries to do so will remain ashamed”, Haradinaj concluded.
