The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, said this bill represents a decisive step in rule of law and fighting corruption in Kosovo.
“Creates effective mechanisms to investigate and seize property that cannot be reasoned with legitimate resources by directly targeting those who have been enriched at the expense of citizens. Through it we send the clear message that no one is above the law and that responsibility will be inevitable. His full and impartial implementation remains the government's priority for justice and equality for all”, Kurti said.
Not that, Justice Minister Donika Grovalla said this draft law for citizens is more equality and justice and more trust in state institutions.
“The bill is already based on three opinions of the Venice Commission and two judgments by the Constitutional Court. These recommendations are reflected in the text of the bill, which has been worked in close co-operation with field, local and international experts, representatives institutes and international partners, including technical consultations and comparisonal analyses to ensure that the provisions are applicable, probutation protected with the Constitutions”, Gervalla said.
Not to be put to the polls, even to be approved. /Periscopi/
