The German Embassy's spokeswoman, Catalina Heine, has said that Germany is the priority of this issue.
In an answer to the Express, he has said that this is a topic often discussed in reports between the two countries.
For Germany, it is a priority to see progress in the development and implementation of the Serb Majority Communities Association, which has been an international obligation since 2013. We hope to see the necessary discussions and then progress in creating association. And of course, any application of association should be fully in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo, for that reason the Constitutional Court should be included for assessment prior to implementation”, Heine said, providing other details.
“Since the road to Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, which Germany strongly supports, is a regular discussion point between the Embassy and the Government of Kosovo, even the Association of Serb Major Communities is often discussed”, she has said.
