Ibrahmi has shown what are the biggest flood damage municipalities, including the family economy, businesses, locals and public infrastructure.
The value of damage from the recent floods across municipalities exceeds 5m euros. According to initial estimates of the municipalities affected by recent floods, the damage so far exceeds 5m euros, seriously affecting family economies, local businesses and public infrastructure. The most affected municipalities, according to the value of damage, are: I sacrificed 2.7m euros; Drenas over 1.5m euros; Peja, Rahoveci and Mitrovica out of 800 thousand euros each; The climate over 650 thousand euros and Malisheva 540 thousand euros”, Ibrahim said.
He has said that the estimates of damage from floods “have not yet ended in several other municipalities in the country”.
Ibrahmi has called for the central level, demanding urgent response and institutional co-ordination.
Nighing financial means “Activating emergency funds and state mechanisms; Practical support for damage sanctions and restoring normality for citizens and businesses. And add intensive action that doesn't repeat these, that's to work and be done in preventing the flow”, he told Periscope.
According to him, municipalities cannot afford this financial burden alone. Without a quick intervention from the central level, many projects are seriously threatened and the delivery of services for citizens.
“communities and the Association of Kosovo municipalities remain committed to full institutional co-operation, but at the same time we require immediate and concrete action”, he said. /Periscope
