The embassy says that in case of accommodation at the hotel, registration can be conducted automatically.
According to Kosovo legislation, starting at 15,3,2026, all foreigners should register within 72 hours of entering the country immediately after arriving at the border point, at the airport or at the nearest police station. The registration requires the address of the residence. If you stay in an accommodation place or a hotel, it is worthwhile to check whether the registration can be conducted automatically through them. The third option is to register at an electronic service, which the Ministry of Internal Affairs will later publish”, says the report.
