I had the joy of visiting today and having a business lunch at Elyse Palace in Paris with the president of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron.
For about two hours we discussed NATO's important and ongoing role in Kosovo, the commitment of European Union missions, as well as the devotion of the Republic of Kosovo to full harmonisation with EU foreign and security policy.
From President Macron, I requested France's support on our road to EU integration and international organisations and deepening economic co-operation through the organisation of new Kosovo business forums. Also, at the meeting, I raised security issues, strengthened our defence capacities, dialogue with Serbia, and implementation of the full normalisation agreement.
I thank President Macro for the warm welcome and support of the Republic of France in moving our Republic forward.
