“There is no specific assessment that Tehran is targeting the United Kingdom or that it could even target it if it wanted”, said Secretary of Housing Steve Reed.
This statement comes after Israeli Army claims that Iran has weapons that can reach as many as 4,000 kilometers, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
Otherwise, Iran has recently targeted the US-Britian Joint Military Base in the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean, located some 3,800km from Iran.
Regional escalation has continued since the US and Israel launched a joint offensive against Iran on February 28th, killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran has retaliated with fears and rockets aimed at Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries that house US military “SEs”. /Periscope
