AUV attracts a number of Aptamil 1 products and Aptamil 2

Consequently, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development and AUV has announced that, through the European Fast Food and Food Alert System (RASFF), a report has been accepted by No. 2026.1018 categories “Alert notification” regarding the presence of the Cereulide toxin in formula (screw) for babies produced by Nuritia Quik B.V., Netherlands.
As AUV says through a Facebook post, the announcement has been distributed by competent European Union authorities through the RASFF system for all countries in which the product has been distributed, including the Republic of Kosovo. Based on the results of laboratory tests conducted by competent authorities in the European Union, it has been found that several tears of the brand's baby formula have been found APTAMIL transcends the allowed borders of cereleid toxin for this food category.
Therefore, measures of prevention by the market for respective products have been taken.
“Under official import control and verification of food detection, the Food and Veterinary Agency has identified that very limited amounts of products included in the Kosovo Republic market have been imported. Products were imported on 1901.2026 by an authorized economic operator and counted through relevant documentation and official controls at the” border point, Klonkosova.tv broadcasts, says the report.

The amount identified: about 5 package (3.94 kg gross)
APTAMIL 2 ▪ 830 g
Lot: 111463178 ) Due date: 04.07.26
Lot: 111475576 ) Due date: 30.07.26
The amount identified: some 95010 packages (7.89 kg gross)
Right after accepting the notification through RASFF system, AUV has undertaken official controls on the ground. Inspection was carried out on the 09.03.26, with which withdrawal from the market of products in question has been ordered. Controls conducted by inspectors have found that products are not for sale in the market, but are blocked in storage. Products are currently in the process of extermination, in line with procedures and legislation in force for food safety.
“Based on verifications conducted so far, it has not been found that these products were in circulation in the market or sold to consumers. As a result, the threat to consumers in the Republic of Kosovo is considered very low, while competent authorities continue monitoring the situation in line with food safety procedures. No reports or complaints from consumers concerning this product have been accepted so far.
“The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development and the Food and Veterinary Agency remain committed to continued market monitoring and implementation of necessary measures for ensuring food safety and protection of consumer health”, the report said.
