In a Facebook post, Ahmeti has praised the historic significance of this event and the Jashari family sacrifice during the freedom struggle.
For every Albanian, around the world, the dates 5, 6 and 7 March are days of national pride and memory, days when we commemorate the anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army, one of the most important events in the contemporary history of our people”, he wrote.
Ahmeti has also commemorated the image of legendary commander Adem Jashar, stressing his family sacrifice in Prekaz.
In these marked days, we remember with respect and honor the glorious war of the legendary commander, Adem Jashar, who, along with his family, with parents, brothers, women and children, with loyal and unmatched loyalty, fought against enemy forces and sacrificed life heroicly for the freedom of independence of Kosovo”, Ahmeti stressed.
According to him, the Kosovo Liberation Army remains a symbol of national resistance and unity.
The KLA era remains a symbol of resistance, unity and sacrifice. The shed blood in Prekaz and Kosovo's side obliges us to maintain and strengthen our freedom, work for national unity and for a better future for generations to come”, he has written.
