VV) MP Agim Bahtiri has been addressed to the Jashari family with a letter to the president's case, despite the same having received negative answers recently, writes Periscope.
Bahtiri in his letter wrote that “Kosovo needs a JASAR at the head of the state; people of speech, trust and resistance”.
We ask that, just as you did the greatest honor to history by granting it freedom, you do today the honor of next Republic by offering a candidate from your family for president of the Republic of Kosovo. You are the only option that can heal this stalemate, restore dignity to the Presidency and unite people about a figure that does not divide, but exalts Kosovo”, writes Bahtiri.

Our nation's honoured Emblemic Family,
I am addressing you with this open letter, not only as the elected MP of the people, but as a citizen feeling the heavy burden of responsibility before history and the future. Kosovo today is at a dangerous crossroads. Since the beginning of 2025, our country has been mired in an inexorable circumstance that is hitting the foundations of our citizenship:
• Constitutional vacuum: With President Osmani's mandate completed on April 4th, the country is falling short of the word of unity. This is not just a legal transition, but a risk for total blocking institutions.
• Diplomatic alarm: Kosovo is facing a silent isolation and unprecedented pressure that is violating our sovereignty.
• Economic wounds and Migration: Political uncertainty has produced a decline in trust, promoting the removal of youth, the engine of this country that your holy family released with blood.
• Sky polyplorization: Our political scene has been divided into cabors that often forget the national interest in front of that party.
In this political darkness, people's eyes naturally turn to Prescas. When institutions rock, the foundations are the ones that keep us standing. The Jashar family is not just a name; it is the very institution of morality, sacrifice and unattainable Albanian unity; it is the institution of credibility and never betrayal.
Therefore I beseech you this day, with the greatest humility and with the highest conviction, Kosovo needs a JASAR
in the head of the state, men of the word, of faith, and of endurance.
