(4 months ago)Italian authorities have conducted an anti-drug operation where 4 people between them have been placed, as well as two Albanians, aged 39 and 52. The 52-year-old is taught he was under house arrest. Also arrested were a 64-year-old Italian and a 44-year-old Egyptian. A total of 53,000 euros in cash, 4.5kg of cocaine and 1.7 [...] were seized from this operation.
A total of 53,000 euros in cash, 4.5kg of cocaine and 1.7kg of hashish were seized. Drugs and money were found in an apartment in Osio Sopra.
The case was found in the framework of a state police investigation conducted between the provinces of Bergamo and Milan, which led to the seizure of a total of 12kg of drugs and 90,000 euros in cash.
Investigations were conducted between September 2022 and March 2023. After the arrest warrants arrived in mid-March 2026, officers conducted searches at home, finding wanted persons in residences with money hidden in walls and drugs.
