In the message published in the State Department, Rubio writes that the UN “states remain steadfast in supporting Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and look forward to expanding economic ties that will boost the prosperity of both our nations”.
Rubio also stresses that he appreciates Kosovo's support for US efforts to face global challenges and welcome -- he says her leadership as the founding member of the Peace Board.
“While Kosovo marks this important anniversary, we look forward to even stronger co-operation in the years to come. The United States stays with Kosovo as it continues to build a secure and prosperous future”, Rubio's message closes.
