Trump is expected to meet Zelensky on July 28th in Washington

US President Donald Trump is expected to host Ukrainian counterpart Voldymyr Zelensky in Washington on Tuesday, July 28th.
According to reports by American and Ukrainian media, the meeting is assessed as an important diplomatic moment in relations between the United States of America and Ukraine.
Diplomatic sources quoted by Radio Liberty suggest Trump and Zelensky are expected to discuss recent developments in the war in Ukraine and American support for Kiev.
The two presidents have also recently met in France and Turkey.
During his stay in the US, Zelensky is also expected to attend the mortoary ceremony of US Senator Lindsey Graham.
According to reports, the Ukrainian president aims to turn the Ukrainian issue into the centre of the Trump Administration, which has focused mainly on developments in the Middle East in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, the US Senate could vote in the next week a two-party package with new sanctions on Russia.
On the front of the war, Russian media have reported that two stores of the electronic trade company “Wildberries”, in the area of St Petersburg and the Leningrad region, have been hit by Ukrainian fears.
As a result of the attacks, fires have been caused, while Russian authorities have declared that air defence has dropped several fears. So far no casualties have been reported.
