According to preliminary information, the vehicle is suspected to have lost control due to speed or a defect in the braking system, the TCh reports.
As a result of the accident, the truck driver, Progress Kapaj, 62, has been severely injured and has been immediately transported to the Regional Hospital of Vlora, where he is cared for by doctors.
On the scene are police forces from the Road Police and fire service, which are working to whitewash the cause of the accident.
