Spiropal today comes to Kosovo, meets with state leaders

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Eliza Spiropali will now pay an official visit to Kosovo, where she will be expected by the highest heads of state. During this visit to Pristina, Spiropali will be initially expected by its counterpart, the first deputy prime minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Glauk Konjufca.

Furthermore, the minister will be expected at separate meetings by Republika President Vjosa Osmani, Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu, as well as by Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Spiropali will also hold meetings with leaders of the main parliamentary parties in the Kosovo Assembly, PDK Chairman Bedri Hamza, LDK Lumir Abdijxhiku and AAK Ramush Haradinaj.

The meetings will focus on deepening co-operation between the two countries, reactivating institutional co-operation mechanisms, preparations for the joint government gathering G2G and implementing signed agreements.

Also, in expanding economic co-operation, especially in the implementation of major national projects such as the Durres-Pristina Railways, increasing infrastructure and joint energy projects, without setting aside co-ordination in support of the Albanian factor in the region and co-operation with the diaspora.

During the visit, Spiropali will stress Albania's support for strengthening Kosovo's international subjectivity, advancing new recognitions and Kosovo's membership in regional and international organisations, as well as for Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration. /Periscope
