Serwer: Serbian List, political party that does not accept Kosovo Constitution, acts as foreign power agent

American expert Daniel Serwer has stated that the Serbian List does not accept the Constitution of Kosovo and acts as an agent of a foreign power, calling it a problem for any democratic country.

Asked about the VV approach, Serwer said Prime Minister Albin Kurti has not yet found a solution, but has been successful in consolidating his political position through confrontation with the Serbian List.

He added that Serbia directly influences the election processes through pressure and intimidation of Serbian voters.

The Serbian “List is a political party that does not accept the Constitution of Kosovo and acts as an agent of a foreign power. Its deputy chairman, according to his admission, has organised a terrorist attack within Kosovo. Serbia uses its security services and state auspices to intimidate voters and ensure that the List wins almost all the elections it participates in”, Cerwer said,

This would pose a problem for any democratic country. I don't think Prime Minister Kurt has found a solution. But he has been successful in consolidating his political position, in part facing the Serbian List. I wonder how calm things would be if Belgrade allowed Kosovo Serb citizens to vote according to their preferences. I doubt their relationship with Pristina would improve significantly, even if they did not accept the Constitution”, he concluded for Blic newspaper.
