President of the Republic of Kosovo
2006-2010
Pristina, February 17th 2026
Today we celebrate the 18th anniversary of the kingdom of our Republic. It's a day of joy and reflection. The Sunday of February 17, 2008, was due to the sacrifice and contribution of many generations.
We humbly remember the fallen for the freedom we enjoy today.
We had the fate of having historic President Ibrahim Rugova, as well as the legendary war hero, Adem Jashar, as leader.
In these years of freedom, achievements are undeniable, and we must all be proud of this. However, our citizenship and state should not stop there. Much work, commitment and responsibility are still needed for the state of Kosovo to take its rightful place among free, sovereign and democratic states.
That is, likewise, one day that makes us see with greater responsibility public commitments, which must be built on values of understanding, tolerance and permanent cooperation.
The wish for this lucky day is a wish for free and developed Kosovo, a promotional and contributing for the benefit of its citizens and human kindness.
