Abidixhik declared that there is no reason for triumph, but for awareness and caution, stressing the need for unity and joint work.

Not for shape, but for meaning. Big work, shared, with the humility that has always kept the LDK standing in its most difficult moments. ”

He has invited all members of the LDK, including those not happy with his leadership, to unite for the party's common goals.

The road ahead of LDK has a healing name. Repurchasing is not about the nature of the winner or the loser but about the whole thing. I appeal to all of you, and to the satisfied with me, but also those especially who were not pleased with me to come and line up behind the common goal of membership. Today's support is privilege and responsibility, but above all burdens for the road ahead of the LDK. A basic element of this assembly and declaration is forming the new LDK leadership, so I had the voting process, and the new leadership will have the same voting process. Maximum democracy will do so. We need full cohesion, even membership, leadership of the LDK, and parliamentary group”, Abdixhiku stressed.

Despite victory, Abdixhiku has been criticised by important party figures, including Hykmete Bajrami, who resigned from the post of deputy chairman.

The LDK, which came in third in the 28 December elections, has secured only 15 seats in the new Assembly./Periscopi/
