Taking into account the nature of claims, which include processing, freezing and transporting international human tissue, as well as possible issues related to compatibility with legal and ethical standards for body - tissue experiments and human samples, the Public Prosecution has deliberately opened up subjects for reviewing all indicators of possible existence elements of a criminal act that are prosecuted under official task”.

“Landa has been presented for competent action to the Public Prosecution of Organised Crime and Corruption Prosecution, which has to take action to collect official information from competent authorities, institutions and health institutions, in order to determine possible illegal treatment of human tissue and biomaterials, concessions or abuses in obtaining permits and consent”, the prosecution's announcement said.
