“Marlboro, Winston, Sobrani...” The border police guard about 1,000kg of smuggled tobacco

Albania's Border Police, with which co-operation and institutional co-ordination are continuing, has immediately been announced.
During field control, police units have found a trailer with suspected goods as smuggling. At the scene, a considerable amount of alcohol processed in packaged 500 grams, such as the following: Marlboro 320 packages, Dunhill 30 packages, Davidoff 450 packages, Parliament 150 packages, Winston Four 150 packages, Sobranie 350 packages, Pal Mall 30 packages, Lucky Strike RH 450 packages, and Camel 60 packages. The total amount of tobacco seized is estimated to be about 1,000kg”, the report says.
The State Prosecutor has been reported in connection with the case, which has recommended the selection of goods and the initiative of the case for criminal work “Kontrabands with goods”. The case is being investigated in co-operation with Kosovo Customs.
Kosovo police have added that it remains committed to preventing and fighting cross-border criminal acts.
