The Kurum company's dangerous remains, Durres prosecution signs 33 security measures

The Durres and Tirana police are taught that they have executed security measures imposed by the tribunal in connection with the industrial waste scandal of the company, the CURM.

At the request of the prosecution and the Court's decision, a total of 33 security measures have been signed against persons suspected of involvement in the case. 26 of them have been arrested, including 5 customs officers, while seven persons have been placed under house arrest.

The measures were taken after Italy's arrival of laboratory analysis results for samples of secuested waste, which, according to investigative sources, classify them as harmful and potentially cancerogenic to human health.

Tests have shown that the concentration of dangerous substances is significantly above allowed rates, shifting the issue from an environmental administrative problem to a serious risk to public health and the environment.
