Today's “is a day of commemoration for all those men and women and children, who sacrificed a lot and everything for the Republic of Kosovo. Activists and warriors who tried to live the Republic, at least from 1968 onward, probably had the same vision of what the Republic would be like, but they had the same desire for freedom. The Republic is primarily the institution of freedom, expression of sovereignty, the means of development. So when it comes to Republic and sovereignty, we can't let go, because we can't compromise with freedom and development”, Kurti said.
Among other things, Kurti said Kosovo Liberation Army fighters are being falsely charged, as he said, they dared to take up arms for freedom.
