Although few are known of it, Kim Yu Ae has recently been photographed with her father at important events, including a visit to Beijing in September to her first trip abroad on record.
The ministry said it has taken into account various circumstances, including increasing its public visibility, to reach that conclusion. They will also attend if she attends the North Party congress later this month, the largest political event held every five years.
The party congress is the place where European is expected to provide more details about priorities such as foreign policy, war planning and nuclear ambitions for the next five years, writes BBC.
You Ae is the only known child of Kim Jong Un and his wife, Re Sol Yu.
NIS believes Kim Jong Un has a bigger son, but this guy has never been recognised or shown up in North Korean media.
News of the existence of Yu Ae came out for the first time from an unexpected source: American basketball player Dennis Rodman, who discovered The Guardian newspaper in 2013 that “carried the baby Yu Ae” during a trip to the secret state.
Yu Ae, believed to be 13 years old, appeared for the first time on state television in 2022.
It appeared by inspecting North Korean's most recent interccircular ballistic missile while holding her father's hand.
Since then it has often appeared in state media.
She accompanied her father to Beijing for the largest military parade of all time in China, where she saw him descend from his armoured train at Beijing's Iron Station.
She is often seen with long hair, which is forbidden to her peers.
Otherwise, North Korean power had been inherited to the Kim family three generations and is widely believed to be Kim Jong Un will pass the throne to you Ae.
Although the South Korean Spy Agency now believes Kim Yu Ae is the appointed heir, this still raises questions.
It is strange why you Ae, a girl, would be elected as heir to a older boy in the deeply patriarchal society of North Korea.
