Kosovo Energy Corporation ( KEK sh.a. reports the public opinion that the A5 unit was stopped from operating around 20:25, as a result of a recorded leak on the screens (the pipe system), in the quota of 1050m.
The entity's ban has been realised in full compliance with technical and operational security standards, with the aim of preventing any potential defect of larger size and enabling the implementation of necessary technical sanctions.
Actually, KEK sh. The operation continues under plan and electricity balance, with four (4) production units in operation: A3, A4, B1 and B2. For clarity and transparency of public opinion, it is stressed that in normal terms of operation KEK operates with four production facilities, while during low-term periods, has been fully committed to operating the fifth unit as well. As a result of this commitment, KEK has managed to operate for a period, even with five production facilities simultaneously.
KEK sh. remains dedicated to safe, stable and efficient operating of production capacities, implementing regular preventive and maintenance measures, with the aim of ensuring the stability of the country's electromagnetic system.
