Four leaders have been detained for 48 hours by police in the South and North Mitrovica region, on orders from Mitrovica's Founding Prosecutor, under suspicion of vote manipulation in the 28 December election process.
Regarding the case, the Kosovo Clan has also spoken of the Constitutional Prosecutor's spokesperson in Mitrovica, Valon Preteni.
He announced that the prosecution has ordered the interview of 43 heads of the Municipal Counting Centres in Mitrovica South, Mitrovica North, Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zvecan.
Preteni confirmed that the investigations are expected to be extended to two more municipalities covered by this prosecutor.
“We have two municipalities covering the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Mitrovica, which are Skenderaj and Vushtrria, and the days ahead will be set for interviewing the leaders of the Municipal Counting Centres even in these two municipalities”, he said.. /Periscopi/
