I held an open and friendly meeting with Congressman Keith Self, Chairman of the European Subcommittee at the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Commission. I thanked him for my firm support of Kosovo and expressed my gratitude to the United States for their stand beside our nation from freedom to democracy and independence.
I stressed that Kosovo's NATO membership remains the right way for our future and for strengthening our strategic partnership. Congressman Self, former American Army officer with 25 years of service and graduate from West Point, has extensive experience in Special Forces and international missions. I felt honored for this special conversation”, Haradinaj wrote.
