The February 17th of 2008 is the day when the courage of our generations and their sacrifice became eternal hope for every citizen, the Republic of Kosovo was proclaimed, a historic injustice was declared. This day was no coincidence, the outcome of a long and sacrificial course. It was the climax of resistance, it was the victory of determination, of a people who refused to submit. Kosovo passed from sacrifice to sovereignty, from resistance to the Republic and from century-old dream to century-old reality”.
