Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans Organisation Chairman Hysni Gucati has said today is a day of joy, but has added it is also exciting because of former KLA leaders being held at The Hague.
He in a direct connection to KTV said their friends were behind bars. He has declared that Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasnqi and Rexhep Selimi are not being tried, but are being tried by the Kosovo Liberation Army.
He has demanded that state institutions raise their voices against this court.
From the protest, it has said that Kosovo's international image and demand for the release of former KLA leaders would be strengthened.
“Today, I'm not feeling well because we have our friends behind bars. They fought hard, led the Rambuille, declared Independence, and are now behind bars. There's been a process for five years, a process that hasn't happened in world history to last so long. I know this date is sacred to all Albanians, but today we protest, to raise our voices against injustice. The main protagonists who were at war and in the free state today are not with us”, he said.
Gucati has called for all Kosovo citizens to participate in the peaceful protest in Pristina.
He has said that all should raise their voices, adding that the prosecution's request for 180 years in prison for all four KLA figures is unacceptable.
There's just no word there. This court has only satisfied the desires of Serbia and some Albanian-speaking Albanians who think Serbia will return to Kosovo. Serbia has left Kosovo and will have no Serb Army legs, but only the Kosovo Army”, he has said.
Gucati has said Serbia is the only one who has committed crimes in Kosovo.
He has declared that Special Court demands justice and equality.
According to him, this court has housed Serbs, while Albanians are trying to condemn them.
Speaking of organising the protest, he has said all schedules for buses to come to Pristina to protest from all Kosovo cities. He added that even students from Tirana will come organisedly.
