The only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has announced he is heading towards Washington at a crucial moment for the Valley Albanians.
He in a post in his Facebook account suggested that following the adoption of the resolution for Albanian rights, the Valley has entered the institutional attention of America.
“I am heading towards Washington at a crucial moment for Albanians in the Presevo Valley. After the approval of H.C. 6411 Preseva Valley Division Act, sponsored by Congresswoman Keith Self (R. Texas, Valley has finally entered the institutional attention of the United States”.
He further said that in Washington they will be directly engaged with the State Department and the American Congress after meetings that, according to him, shape the American approach to the Valley.
“Header is clear: systematic discrimination against local Albanians is no longer periphery issue -- it is a matter of human rights and democracy”, Kamberi reported. /Periscopi/
