Avdyl Kerim Fera makes known to Kosovo that two people are citizens of Serbia, from the town of Prokuples respectively, and three Kosovo citizens, two from Podujevo and one from Scikywright.
Fera, has told Kosova Preis that suspects have failed to rob gold, except to cause damage at the store.
We've got information that some people tried to steal, tried to break up the bar behind the store... Fortunately, there's no damage, because the police have acted immediately and the moment they tried to get in they have been arrested. There are supposed to be two Serbs from Serbia of Prokuples and three Kosovo citizens two from Podujevo and one from Skenderaj's Lausa. According to a police information, there are five persons involved in the case, but if they are not reported to the opinion, they are supposed to be at the Kacanic”, Fera said.
Such an act had happened to Fera 10 years ago at his old Kacanik bar.
In the early hours of February 1st, Kosovo police in the municipality of Kacanik have arrested five people -- two of them citizens of Serbia -- for attempted serious theft.
Meanwhile, at 1:40 a.m., police have received information that two people were trying to break a gold window on Ismail Raka Street in Kacanik. Also, about the same time, another police patrol has banned a car with local license plates, in which three suspected persons -- Kosovo citizens -- were located.
This has been confirmed by the Police's spokesman for the Ferizyar region, Wessel Canun, who has announced that the Investigation Unit has confiscated alleged means used to carry out criminal work, such as metal rods, different keys, a sharp tool (scalp), and gloves.
The suspects have been interviewed in the presence of defence lawyers and translators, while two have accepted involvement in the case.
At the order of the state prosecutor, five people have been sent to holding for 48 hours for further investigative procedures. /Periscope
