In reopening the trial review, since there was a change in the composition of juro members, President Violet Namani Hajra asked the parties if they stay in whole near the opening words. The sides said they stayed overall.

Instead of members, Arben Hoti and Underdignment Arrni, there are judges Mediae Bytyqi and Leon Perlasca.

The chairman of the court, Violet Namani Hajra, made a decision to close public hearings as former AKI inspector Shozen Soopyan's statement will be read, since special prosecutor Habibe Salihu considered that witness Sopijan's statement is confidential and should not be open to the public.

In December 2025, on the day the indictment was to be declared, the Foundation decided to reopen the court review, since it has concluded that additional documents must be collected to achieve an indictment in the case.

Driton Gashi was sentenced in 2023 to four years and eight months in prison, but at the end of 2024, the Court of Appeals turned the case into retrial in terms of point 1 of the device while confirming the release of two other indictees.

The former director of the Department of State, Asylum and Migration at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Valon Krasniqi, and former director of the Directorate for Migration and Foreign Under Border Police, Beftman Sylejmani.

The Special Prosecutor claims Gashi overstepping his official duty was involved in the deportation, including in aspects related to sending the injured to Turkey. According to the indictment, Gashi presented Turkish citizens as a danger to Kosovo's national security, while they were not.

The deportation of six Turkish citizens had criticised the international community, while it had praised Turkey, which accused them of being members of Fethullah Gylen's organisation, which is considered terrorist in this country.

Six Turkish citizens have been convicted as part of the late Fethuhlah Gulen political movement. Their prisons range from 7 and a half years to 15 years.
