MP The PDK, Abelard Tahiri, has made it known that the Second Stairs Court has overturned an earlier judicial ruling, which, according to him, threatened the embezzlement of public property in downtown Pristina.
Tahiri said it was announced several months ago on a decision that, according to him, would pave the way for powerful interest groups to take public land in order to build business towers at the expense of citizens.
He stressed that he did not keep silent about this case and that he had hired a professional team to protect public interest.
Today, justice spoke. The Second Stairway Court overturned the unfair decision of the first degree and turned the case to zero”, Tahiri has declared.
According to him, this decision represents a major victory for Pristina and for citizens, calling it victory against abuse and capture of public property.
“Public interest must be above the interests of criminalised groups”, Tahiri concluded.
