According to police reports, the arrest of suspects has been made in co-operation with the AKI and relevant police units.
On January 31st, 2026 police investigators from the Narcotics Trafficking Investigation Directorate -The Ferizaj unit, in co-ordination and co-operation with AKI and assisted by a traffic-autostrada police unit, around 20:30 on the Customs-Cakan highway, has banned a North Macedonia license car under suspicion that this car was being trafficked with narcotics. Two men, North Macedonia citizens, have been found in the car. During car control, they were found and seized in material evidence qualities:
20 pharmaceuticals, allegedly narcotics of marijuana, weighing 6.4kg;
6 content with substance, allegedly narcotics of heroin, weighing 3.2kg;
Two mobile phones and
A car”, says the police report.
It is estimated that the market price of this amount of narcotics behaves around 80 thousand euros.
With the custody prosecutor's decision, after the interview the two suspects have been detained for up to 48 hours.
