Recounting of votes in all Kosovo municipalities ends

According to the CEC's first decision, on January 13th 2026, in 10 municipalities was scheduled to recount 100% of the deployments (Dragasch, Kacanic, Lespoaviq, Prizren, Skenderaj, Shtime, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Mamouse and Ranilluq), meanwhile in 28 other municipalities, only out of 10% of seats (Decan, Gjakova, Gloc, Gjilan, Istog, Kli, Fusha, Kosovo, Kamica, South Mitrovica, Lipbore, Ochabire, Peja, Pristina, Sufjeta, Sakkarez, Shkovac, Shkovachkatz, Zushka, Krezovachka, Krezka, Krezka, Krezkazka, Kushka, Kushka, Krezka, Krezka, Krezka, Krezka, Kushka, Kushka, Kushka, Kushka, Kushka, Krezka, Krezka, Kushka, Kushka, Kushka
Following the CEC's second decision, on January 19, 2026, other polling options in these municipalities were included.
The CEC made these decisions for recounting in order to ensure the accuracy of the election results and to ensure that the will of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo is accurately recorded and reflected, as expressed by them in the ballot.
